Is your pool open for the season?

YES! our heated saltwater pool is open for the season. the baths, with a hot tub and canadian cedar sauna, are open year-round and complimentary for hotel guests, too.

When is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 4PM. Check-out is 11AM. Please contact us prior to your arrival if you expect to arrive after the Front Desk closes (open until 7PM in the winter off-season), so we can arrange for a contactless check-in. If departing before the Front Desk opens, please leave your keys in the drop box located outside the office door.

Are you open year-round?

We're open every day of the year. Although our town is more lively in the spring, summer, and fall, The Viewpoint is a perfect cozy spot to escape during the winter. Plus, there are plenty of open restaurants and things to do just a short drive away.

Question 4

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We're a small, locally-owned and family-run business — so cancellations can impact us significantly. Please note that changes or cancellations to reservations must be made directly through the party you booked. For a full refund of your deposit, 30+ days notice is required. For a refund of your deposit minus a $25 cancellation fee, 14-29 days notice. Deposit is non-refundable less than 14 days before your stay. Pre-Pay rate is non-refundable. No refund is provided for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, or weather-related cancellations. Changes or cancellations to reservations MUST be made directly through the party you booked.

Do you have electric vehicle charging?

As a coastal property in Maine, we care deeply about sustainability. There is a Tesla charger available for electric vehicles on the property. Availability is on a first-come first-serve basis.

Is there a restaurant on the property?

Accepted Answer

Our pop-up restaurant, "A Little Auk," is open from spring to summer. But don't worry — there are plenty of restaurants open year-round within a short drive, and we have insider recommendations just for our guests.

Question 7

Do you have daily housekeeping?

Accepted Answer

Just use the indicator we've placed in your room to let us know you'd like your room cleaned and we'll do the rest. Are you a big coffee drinker or love our signature lotion scent? Let us know, and we'll make sure to bring you everything you need, like extra coffee or toiletries.

Can I bring my pet?

Accepted Answer

The ViewPoint Hotel is a completely pet-free property. We do not allow pets inside or on hotel property. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, certified service dogs that have been trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability are permitted. Emotional support animals do not fall under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Question 9

Do all rooms have ocean views?

Accepted Answer

Yes! All rooms have ocean views. However, two rooms do not have distinct views of Nubble Lighthouse: #110 and #108. These rooms do have ocean views and private patios, and the view is reflected in the price.

How private is the property?

All suites on the property have their own private entrance. Shared spaces are only available to hotel guests, including: The outdoors and multiple patios, The Studio, fitness center, and seasonal heated saltwater pool.
