Is your pool open for the season?

YES! our heated saltwater pool is open for the season. the baths, with a hot tub and canadian cedar sauna, are open year-round and complimentary for hotel guests, too.

Q: When is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 4PM. Check-out is 11AM. Please contact us prior to your arrival if you expect to arrive after the Front Desk closes (open until 7PM in the winter off-season), so we can arrange for a contactless check-in. If departing before the Front Desk opens, please leave your keys in the drop box located outside the office door.

Q: Are you open year-round?

We're open every day of the year. Although our town is more lively in the spring, summer, and fall, The Viewpoint is a perfect cozy spot to escape during the winter. Plus, there are plenty of open restaurants and things to do just a short drive away.

Q: Is there a restaurant on the property?

Our pop-up restaurant, "A Little Auk," is open from spring to summer. But don't worry — there are plenty of restaurants open year-round within a short drive, and we have insider recommendations just for our guests.

Q: Do you have daily housekeeping?

Just use the indicator we've placed in your room to let us know you'd like your room cleaned and we'll do the rest. Are you a big coffee drinker or love our signature lotion scent? Let us know, and we'll make sure to bring you everything you need, like extra coffee or toiletries.

Q: Can I bring my pet?

The ViewPoint Hotel is a completely pet-free property. We do not allow pets inside or on hotel property. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, certified service dogs that have been trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability are permitted. Emotional support animals do not fall under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Q: Do all rooms have ocean views?

Yes! All rooms have ocean views. However, two rooms do not have distinct views of Nubble Lighthouse: #110 and #108. These rooms do have ocean views and private patios, and the view is reflected in the price.

When is your pool open?

When is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 4PM. Check-out is 11AM. The Welcome Point (our front desk) is open from 8AM until 8PM in the off season. Please contact us prior to your arrival if you expect to arrive after closing. If you plan to depart before the The Welcome Point opens, please leave your keys in the drop box located outside the door.

What is your cancellation policy?

We're a small, locally-owned and family-run business — so cancellations can impact us significantly. Please note that changes or cancellations to reservations must be made directly through the party you booked. For a full refund of your deposit, 30+ days notice is required. For a refund of your deposit minus a $25 cancellation fee, 14-29 days notice. Deposit is non-refundable less than 14 days before your stay. Pre-Pay rate is non-refundable. No refund is provided for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, or weather-related cancellations. Changes or cancellations to reservations MUST be made directly through the party you booked.

Do you have electric vehicle charging?

As a coastal property in Maine, we care deeply about sustainability. There is an electric vehicle charger available for electric vehicles on the property. Availability is on a first-come first-serve basis.

Is there a restaurant on the property?

Our on-property restaurant, "A Little Auk," is an al fresco spot and open from April to October with shared plates and craft cocktails. If you're visiting in the fall or winter, our sister restaurants just 1.5 miles away Lulu's and Stones Throw are open, and we also provide a curated list of restaurants open year-round for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in York, Ogunquit, Portsmouth, and Kittery.

Do you have daily housekeeping?

Yes, we offer daily housekeeping by request. Just text us (or drop by The Welcome Point) to request a cleaning and your preferred time (for example, when you're out to lunch), and we'll take care of the rest. Looking for extra towels or coffee, or want to purchase a bottle of wine? Just let us know, and we'll leave them in your room!

Can I bring my pet?

The Viewpoint is a completely pet-free property. We do not allow pets inside or on hotel property. How private is the property?

All suites on the property have their own private entrance. Shared spaces are only available to hotel guests, including: The grounds and multiple patios, The Fitness Studio, seasonal heated saltwater pool, and The Baths.
