COVID-19 Update

With recent events in mind, we are adapting our procedures and policies

to maximize protection for our guests and our team. 

We have thought long and hard about how to best serve our guests during this time. As a small business,

this will affect not only us, but our friends and our fellow business owners greatly. We do not want to shut

our doors to our guests- we want everyone to enjoy the beauty of the Maine seacoast as much as we do.

We appreciate your continued support and your understanding.

Cancellation Policy for Existing Reservations
Because of our size and the seasonal nature of our business, cancellations affect us significantly. However, we have decided to temporarily adjust our Cancellation Policy for all stays on or before April 15, 2020 to give our guests flexibility due to the coronavirus. We will continue to monitor the situation and will adjust our policies for future stays if needed.
Guests Must Notify ViewPoint of a Cancellation-

  • 30+ days in advance to their stay to get a full refund of their deposit & to avoid a cancellation fee

  • 14-29 days in advance notice would result in a refund of the deposit, minus a $25 cancellation fee

  • 14 days or less prior to the reservation the deposit will become a credit to be used for a future stay within the 2020 Season.  If unable to visit within the 2020 season we will refund 50% of the deposit.

  • The pre-pay rate the deposit will become a credit to be used for a future stay within the 2020 Season.  If unable to visit within the 2020 season we will refund 50% of the deposit.

Disclaimer: Reservations booked through our third-party sites, follow our deposit requirements as specified by our company. Any cancellations or changes to reservation MUST be made directly through the party in which you booked.

Remote Check-In & Check-Out

We are requiring a remote check-in and check-out for our guests. Please update us with a cell phone number. The day of your arrival you will receive a text message from Crane Hotel Group choosing to opt in to our text messaging service. During this time, we highly suggest you opt-in for easy communication. Once opted in, directions to your suite will be provided and your parking pass will be waiting for you in your suite. Your keys will be left in a sealed envelope or lockbox at your suite. 

If you prefer not to opt-in to the text messaging service, you may call or email us to retrieve this information. Any suite balances will be charged to the card on file unless otherwise designated prior to your arrival.

In keeping your reservation, you are agreeing to have the card on file charged, as well as agreeing to our hotel policies, which can be found in your confirmation email attachment or on our website.

As we need enough time to properly clean and thoroughly sanitize each suite, we cannot offer early check-in or late check-out at this time.

Updated Housekeeping Procedures and Policies

Housekeeping will NOT be offering in-suite services at this time. If needed, we will give you a customized bag of your favorite necessities. Are you a BIG coffee drinker? Make sure to tell us! Dry skin? We'll get you extra lotion! 

  • You may leave rubbish and dirty towels in provided bags outside of your suite and we will exchange them for you. 

  • Please call, text (if opted-in to Crane Hotel Group text messages), or email us by 3PM each day to let us know what we can get for you!

  • We ask that you bag any used linens, such as towels, in the bags provided upon departure.

Communication With Our Guests

We have implemented a text messaging service as a way to communicate with our guests. To receive updates, we strongly encourage you to opt-in. Please make sure that we have a cell phone on file so that you can receive updates and message us if you wish.

 

In addition to the above, an email will be sent to all guests checking in over the next two weeks explaining any updates.

As of March 16th, 2020, we are accepting new reservations with a 2 night minimum until April 15th, 2020 (subject to change)
